KravKids: Youth Instructor Courses
A child is not a tiny adult. In developing our training programs, grading system, curriculum, lesson plans and teaching methods, we have carefully considered the unique needs of children and teens.
These days, with violence on the rise and bullying becoming more and more common, both the educational system and parents face difficulties in handling violence directed at children. It is essential that young people acquire skills, abilities, techniques and tactics to cope with any unexpected confrontation inflicted upon them.
OUR GOAL: TRAINING KRAV MAGA INSTRUCTORS FOR CHILDREN
In Israel, where Krav Maga was created, nurtured and continues to be developed, children and teenagers have successfully been taught this art for over four decades.
In most countries, participants in KMG courses must be over 18 years of age; and in some countries, over 16. Recently, however, we have begun teaching younger people in selected countries. For this reason, the need for instructors who specialize in teaching children and teens has grown.
The Youth Instructor Course includes specific education, training and tools to teach Krav Maga and self-defense techniques to children and teenagers.
Candidates for this course must be certified instructors with at least one year of teaching experience and a strong inclination for the field. Experience working with children or teenagers is an advantage.
